The Filcom Basketball Association was founded and established in Hayward, CA.  Our mission is to promote unity and a healthy active lifestyle within the Filipino Community we serve through the game of Basketball and our Filcom Community Program. 

We intend to achieve our mission by working hard to emphasize the following core values:

• -To encourage good sportsmanship and community among our participants through our common love for the game of basketball
• -To provide a venue where camaraderie, leadership and positive sportsmanship are demonstrated and practiced in order to encourage our youth to become good citizens in their community and the world
• -To help our sponsors and local Filipino business men and women build their brands and businesses
• -To provide our community entertainment value in a clean, secure and comfortable environment
• -To treat our respective constituencies with respect and appreciation, as we, ourselves would want to be treated and serviced
• -To make our communities a better place to live through support of worthy social causes, ie donations to charities, families in need, etc.
• -To involve our spectators and sponsors in the game as participants
• -To be proactive and accountable in carrying out our mission

Currently, we have five different leagues within FilCom:
* Open League for players 18 and over
* 35 and Over League designed for our older participants

* D-League Asian Division

* 6'0" and Under League open to all 18 and over who meet the height requirements

* COMING SOON "Girls and Boys Youth League ages 8 to 18 years of age."
