                                                     WRAP UPS -OPEN DIVISION                                      

 

 

Game 1 saw DEADSTOCK DESIGN dawn with their new uniforms and with only five players hanging with the HOOPSTARZ with a 57-52 in a lost over HOOPSTARZ. Led by Stan Caldwell with 17 points and 12 rebounds and Ryan “THE ONE” San Juan with 14 points, the HOOPSTARZ improved to 3-3 record. DEADSTOCK DESIGN got 21 points from “STAR” Rodney Campbell and 12 points from Sunny Margate as they fall to 2-3. 

 

Game 2 had team UPTEMPO forfeiting against AUTOHOUSE.

Game 3 had our undefeated team, JUMPMEN vs. FRISCO FINEST. Behind FRISCO FINEST was Rommel Sembrana with 17 points and 7 rebounds and with 11 points a-piece from Ricci Myles and AJ “AIR 22” Sampson improve to 4-1 with a hard fought 58-49 victory over the JUMPMEN. JUMPMEN got 12 points from Francis “BUCKETS” Diaz and 7 points from Joachim Perlas as they lose in their new throw back JUMPMEN uniforms and fall to 4-1 on the season. 

 

Game 4 saw the Defending Champion INSIDE MOVES with the hard fought over the ZOOM 67-65. Behind 22 points from the “THING” Ruben and 20 points from the Steve Chang, with the last 3 minutes with the hot hand from Remington Chan dropped 14 points. The INSIDE MOVES runs their record to 3-2. ZOOM loses for the 2nd time got 22 points from Angelo and 14 points from Jerick P as they stand at 3-2.

 

Game 5 saw the BROTHERHOOD run away from the GENESIS 87-79. Led by Joel Sales Sr. with 25 points, and Russelle “THE MAYOR” Lopez with 21 points and 14 rebounds. Also, they had helped from Carlos “THE PUSHER” Fabian with 15 points and 9 rebounds and the “DYNAMITE KID” Joel Sales Jr. with 4 points. The BROTHERHOOD improved to 4-1 on the season. GENESIS got a season high with 27 points and 9 rebounds from Angelo and 23 points from “TRIGGERMAN” Alvin Vinoya as they fall to 1-4.

 

Game 6 had FASTBREAK versus the OUTKAST, without their star “LEGEND” Chris Bade. Well OUTKAST jumped out early and never took their foot off the pedal as they went on to victory 70-64. Led by Oscar “MONSTER” Latoreno with 23 points and 18 from Joe Baladad, with a double-double from “BIG DIESEL” Isiah Epps with 16 points and 18 rebounds with their first win and improved to 1-4. The FASTBREAK sleep walked thru the first half and never could recover. They got 19 points from Macoy Heramia as they fall to 2-4 on the season. 

 

With only weeks left in the regular season, so each week bring you’re A game or it could spell curtains for your squad’s playoff hopes. Just remember players in order to be eligible to participate in the PLAYOFFS you will have had to PLAY in Four regular season games.

JUNE27, 2009. AT HAYWARD, CA.

 

WRAP UPS - 6 ft & Under Division

 

 

Game 1 saw GAMECOCKS improve to 4-2 with an easy win 68-48 victory over BASICX. GAMECOCKS led by Angelo Siu Toung with 20 points, 4 rebounds and 4 assists. With the help of Melvin Garcia with 13 points and were able to make enough plays down the stretch to pull out the win. BASICX losses five straight in a row and now stand at 1-5, got 12 points from Peter Ventura and 6 points, 7 rebounds from Miguel Parks in the loss.

 

Game 2 Team INFAMOUZ forfeited vs SKILLIONAIRES

 

Game 3 saw both teams with only six players for the BROTHERHOOD and the HITSQUAD, this two teams really put in a show as BROTHERHOOD put it on HITSQUAD 89-79. Led by the PLAYER OF THE WEEK Angelo with 25 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists and 22 points from the “KID DYNAMITE” Joel Sales JR. and Joel Sales Sr. The BROTHERHOOD improve to 4-2. HITSQUAD got 17 points from Joe “THE HOPPER” Rufino and 16 points from Joey Penyra, in a loss.   

 

Game 4 saw VERSATYLE snap their 3 game winning streak with a hard fought 76-64 victory over the CALI EXPRESS. VERSATYLE got 18 points from the Domingo Emiano and 13 points from Andrian Collins as they improve to 3-3 on the season. The CALI EXPRESS got 17 points a piece from Mario Farmosa and John Carrillo and 11 points from “STAR” Rodney Campbell as they fall to 3-3 as well.

 

Game 5 of the day saw JUMPMEN did not struggle over GENESIS the entire game. Jumpmen pulled it off 98-62. GENESIS could not response without their two star players Alvin “TRIGGERMAN” Vinoya and “THE ONE” Ryan San Juan as Francis “BUCKET“ Diaz dropped 20 points and 18 points and 6 rebounds from Joachim Perlas. GENESIS got double-double by Mike Mendoza with 24 points and 10 rebounds as they improved to 3-3

 

Game 6 PURE against SPARTANS with an easy win 74-58. Anthony Griffin with his career high with 23 points and 6 rebounds. Rico “SAUVE” Thomas helped with 18 points and 9 rebounds in a win and improve to 4-2 in the season. SPARTANS hang in there to the last second, led by Nick Li with 15 points and 15 points from Jacob B. Spartans with their four streak loses and still trying to find away to play as a team.  

 

Game 7 saw the Defending Champion DIVINE HOME CARE win their 3rd a in a row with an 74-53 victory over the FASTBREAK. The FASTBREAK hang tough in the first down only 8 points points 38-28. But the second half DIVINE HOME CARE started going led by Reigning MVP Gerard “SKYWALKER” David with 23 points and J.T. Timbang with 10 points and 4 rebounds as they improved to 3-3 on the season. The FASTBREAK were led by the Jerome Dizon with 19 points and Macoy Heramia with 17 points as they fall to 3-3.

 

With only weeks left in the regular season only 3 teams sits top the standings at 5-1. But right now there are legitimately five teams capable of winning the Championship. For the next weeks we will be big in setting up the Playoff match ups. Just remember players in order to be eligible to participate in the Playoffs you will have had to PLAY in Four regular season games.

 

SO PEACE OUT AND GO HARD OR GO HOME.

 JUNE 28, 2009- HAYWARD, CA                       

                                        WRAP UPS - D-League Division

 

Game 1 saw PEPSI BOYZ and SF WARRIORS, while SF WARRIORS still looking for there first win. As the ball was tip-off, SF WARRIORS tried to hang on with the PEPSI BOYZ, but PEPSI BOYZ had there chemistry all planned out before the 2nd half. All nine players had points, including Tyron Flores with his 8 points and 3 rebounds. Angel V and Darwin Santiago with 7 points a-piece and JP Reyes also score with 5 points, 4 rebounds and 1 steal in the win. SF WARRIOS had 7 points, 2 steals and 1 blocked from Oscar Montemayo. With their big man Balong injured, Oscar had helped from Jeffrey Frogozo with 5 points, 5 rebounds, 2 steal, 2 assist and 2 blocks in the lost. SF WARRIORS still figuring out how to play with chemistry with one another.                                                                                                                                                             

Game 2 had ELITE sprint out to and early lead and coast to victory over OUTLAWS 59-35. Behind 15 pts from Donald G with his carrer high of five 3-pointers. Xyrus "THE VIRUS" Salvador and Denmark with 13 pts each and Niko with 8 points and 6 rebounds improves to 5-1. ELITE got 17 pts from Charles and 7 points from Ron Bondoc as they drop their second in a row and sit at 3-2 on the season.                                      

                                                                                                         

Game 3 had our past season Champions MAGNUM PI, battle for the 11th place between PACIFIC BAY DENTAL. Well, with two players scoring in double figure led by Vinci with 19 pts and 16 rebounds, and Mark with 16 points in victory of 54-50. MAGNUM PI got 15 pts from their Team Captain, Edgar Espanola and 13 pts from Richie Dela Cruz as they fall to 2-4 record.

 

Game 4 had our PLAYER OF THE WEEK, Rich Manuel with 7 seconds left on the clock as he made the winning shot with his carrer high dropping 21 points and 6 rebounds. Both teams almost score on every shot, as PHASEMAKER win over NOYP 62-60. Justin contributed with 18 pts 13 rbs as the PHASEMAKER improves to 3-3. The NOYP got 17 pts from Mike and 12 pts from Jason as they fall to 2-4. 

 

 

Game 5 saw our undefeated DC BULLETS head on team RAVENS. DC BULLETS trying to win their 5 straight in a row . Behind the outside and the inside shooting from Jay Cabayan with 16 pts, Melvin Garcia with18 pts, Armando with 13 points, EJ Cordero with 12 pts and Gary Berdal with 8 pts in a lost 65-64. RAVENS knocked down jumpers each time DC BULLETS tried to make a run. Then RAVEN improved to 3-2. DC BULLETS was lacked on their defense on the last quarter, as they couldn’t get stops the RAVENS when needed. Lenny scored 17 pts and Morales had 13 pts and 12 rbs in a win.

 

Game 6 last game of the nigh, BAY AREA cruise down with 55-46 victory over TEAM RP. Behind 26 pts from Eddie Piring and 10 pts from Mike Upod. BAY AREA had no problem improving there record to 4-2. TEAM RP got 16 pts from Jake the "SNAKE" as they still are adjusting to the competition and speed in their inaugural season with  the D-League Division.
