                                                MVP: RODNEY CAMPBELL  HAYWARD, CA. What an exciting game on FilCom Tournament Champions. Both teams, CALI and FRISCOS FINEST did not disappoint the fans. These two teams has to be a rival competition. The last time these two teams met was at FilCom Tournament in Tice VAlley last year, 2008, CALI beat FRISCO FINEST by 5 points.

 

HAYWARD, CA. Sunday, 03-15-09, the dominant rebounder John Corrillo scored 15 points and 11 rebounds in Over Time and the CALI beat FRISCOS FINEST 68-65 on late Sunday Night, 03-15-2009, snapping an FilCom-record streak of 7-0 wins in a Tounament Champion. Mario had 13 points, who won for the 6'0 and under championships for the 2nd time. Rodney Campbell, whose 3-pointer with 9.3 seconds left with the double pump in the fourth quarter forced overtime. Nick grabbed 8 points and 10 rebounds. The CALI improved the FilCom best record to 7-0. Rodney Campbell also had 8 assists in 25 minutes before picking up his fourth personal foul with 3:32 left in OT—Rodney was fouled out for the first time when Cali played on Saturday, 03-14-2008 verses SHOTGUNS. Nick 1-2 free throws gave the CALI a 68-65 edge with 12 seconds to play after the FRISCO FINEST turned the ball over. FRISCO FINEST had CJ scored with 14 points and both Anthony and AJ Sampson has total scored of 18 points and 14 rebounds. Kent Evans also chipped in with 9 points and 5 rebounds in the lost. It was a very hard battle for these two teams.
